Caring For Loved Ones At Home

This can be a viable option when the senior is in good health and requires limited assistance with daily acts of living.  Dementia and mobility issues may require 24/7 care, which is a challenge for working family members.  Care givers are available to come to your home.

But the cost can be prohibitive especially for 24/7 coverage.  You will also need a back up person should the primary care giver not be available on short notice.  Finally, having only one caregiver with your loved one for most of the day may not provide sufficient social interactions which are shown to be important to the health and well being of seniors.
