Our Mission:

We are a small business that is dedicated to the care of seniors in the Bay Area since 2011.  Our team consists of health professionals, caregivers and administrators, united by the mission of providing homes that are fit for our own moms and dads.  Each of us has senior loved ones who are very dear to us, some in far away places.  We understand the concerns and needs of our senior residents and their families.  We work professionally and live compassionately, altogether as a big family.  We care for our residents as we would our own loved ones:  with kindness, respect and humor.  Love and genuine care are part of what we do!

Our Homes:

Each of our two facilities in South San Francisco is home to six residents.  Each home is a charming residence in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood.  Team members are available 24/7 on site, ensuring safety and comfort for the residents.

Professional Care:

Each home is managed by a State licensed administrator who has over 20 years experience in health care and elderly care.   Our care givers are highly trained, most with over 10 years of experience in elderly care.  All have undergone extensive background and medical checks.  Our team members are in this line of work because they care.  When you come to visit us, you will see that what makes our homes unique is the friendship and bonds between our residents and our team members.

Assisted Living

Our staff provides ongoing help with medication management, personal hygiene assistance, healthy home cooking, special meal preparation, laundry and clothing services, and coordination with outside healthcare providers. Everything is taken care of, our residents just have to relax and enjoy their routine daily lives in comfort.

Daily Interactions

Some of our residents prefer to remain in the privacy and comfort of their own room, others want and benefit from ongoing interactions with our caregivers, such as conversation, game playing, TV watching, outdoors walking, or discussion of the latest news. Health

  • Healthy living is a central theme for us. So naturally, healthy home cooking is on the menu every day.  Our residents enjoy three full meals a day and snacks to suit their taste. We cater to special eating requirements such as diabetic, low sugar, low fat, vegetarian diets.
  • We promote independent living and encourage activities such as gardening, stretching and walking.

Comfort

  • Our residents enjoy all the comforts of home without a worry about home keeping. We take care of cooking, cleaning, laundry, gardening, and even keeping appointments.
  • Our homes are comfortably and tastefully furnished. A library is available for recreational reading, news and memory support
  • Cable TV is provided in every room. Complimentary wifi is available throughout the homes.

Professional Services

  • Our care givers are highly skilled in providing assistance with daily activities of living such as bathing, grooming, eating etc. Each resident is unique and enjoys an individualized service plan.
  • Our residents can choose from a range of services such as:

– Healthy home cooking

– Home cleaning. Laundry service

– Activities such as gardening, walking, stretching

– Assistance with daily activities as needed including bathing, grooming, toileting and mobility support.

– Assistance with medication and keeping appointments

– Arrangements for transport and escort to appointments

– Co-ordination with medical practitioners for holistic support

  • Our residents often utilize the support of multiple health and medical practitioners. For holistic care, we co-ordinate with doctors, nurses, therapists and other medical professionals to support residents with managing appointments and visits.  We can arrange transport for appointments and accompany our residents if necessary.
  • Communication is vital to robust health care.  Our staff members are trained to monitor residents’ health conditions and communicate with families and doctors any important changes.

Community

  • At the heart of our communities are the bonds and friendships among the residents and the team members. Our team members live with the residents 24/7 and care for them like family. Over months and years, our team members develop a deep understanding of each resident’s needs, concerns and preferences.  We make our communities fit for our own moms and dads.  Our aim is to support each resident’s health and well being.
  • Around the residents and team members is an extended community of residents’ loved ones. We love celebrating residents’ birthdays and other milestones.  Seasonal celebrations take place throughout the year and are open to family members.
  • We encourage visits by residents’ family members. Skype and FaceTime are available for virtual visits.

Small homes usually accommodate upto 6 residents with live in caregivers. Each home is managed by a licensed administrator and staff by trained staff who have undergone medical and background checks.  24/7 staff should be available.
